8/29 『今年の太陽』アートと詩のコラボ作品

数年前から、アクリルや水彩絵の具を用いて制作したアートに自作の詩（日英両語）を
綴ってアートと詩のコラボ作品を制作しています。

今回のタイトルは『今年の太陽』

 

 

『今年の太陽』

北国の夏の日差しは鋭く熱い

肌に刺さる光線を見上げると

太陽が目つぶしを仕掛けてた

空中に光の点々が散らばった

子どもたちにモノづくりの楽しさを

味わってもらおうと

要らなくなったもので

作ってみたよ今年の夏の太陽を

銀紙を丸めてしわしわにしてから

ゆっくりと広げて型に被せる

好きな色の油性マジックで塗ったら

作品の出来上り

いつも創作が大好きなあの子が

「これと同じものを作りたい」と

まるでコピーしたように同じものを

作って持って帰ったね、最終日に

心の中にこの夏の太陽が

いつまでも輝き続けますように

たくさんのアート作品と

楽しかった時間を象徴とする太陽が

 

☆  十代の夏に先生の作品を真似て作った太陽像。

この少女にとってそれがどんな意味を持つのかと想いを巡らしてみました。

 

The Sun that Symbolizes This Summer

Even in this northern climate the sunlight is sharp and hot on my skin.

I look up and my eyes see lightning dots in the air.

When I taught a Summer Art Camp, the main theme was to have fun making crafts.

With patterned cardboard covered over wrinkled tin foil, and then colored with permanent markers.

It was quite simple to create a sun. 

One girl who always made unique art works said to me,

“I want to make a sun exactly the same as the one you made.”

This was unusual for her, but I saw her point.

It was the last day of the art camp and she wanted to make the same sun as I had made.

To remember how enjoyable the time was she had spent making art with me.

It is my hope that the sun she created shines forever in her heart.
